Ms. Lin Flores
Ms. Flores is a self-driven educator who values student-centered education as well as rigorous and meaningful curriculum. Flores’ primary purpose is to teach state standards while creating a classroom environment that fosters unity, empathy, and discussion. As an interdisciplinary teacher, Flores effectively engages students in visual arts and social studies. Additionally, when Flores isn’t educating, she is learning and growing in her craft as a poet. Currently, she is working on her online master’s degree in creative writing at the University of New Orleans. Flores loves Texas, poems, art, pets, and volunteering time at queer community centers.
