Vote 4 Uluave

State FFA Results

The FFA Chapter competed at the State Career Development Events. Teams of two to four students competed in a range of events. The Livestock Judging Team which included Myranda Olsen, Tiffiny Brown, Alexandria Brown, and Danielle Webb recieved a gold rating and placed 12th out of 57 teams. Danielle placed in the top 10 percent in the individual portion of the contest.

The Horse Judging Team that included Myranda Olsen, Kirsten Savage, Shey Chew, and Tiffiny Brown placed 9th out of 72 teams. They also received a gold rating. In the individual portion of the Horse Judging Event, Myranda Olsen ranked 8th out of over 200 students.

In the brand new Veterinary Science Contest Nikole Arns, Susan VanEperen, Kirsten Savage, and Myranda Olsen earned a gold rating and placed fourth in state.

In the individual Floriculture event students Alexis Pidcock placed 10th overall and Tracy Mitchell placed 12th overall against 150 other students. Cyle Jones and Keaton Newman participated in the Agricultural Mechanics competition and did excellent.

Elementary Boys Basketball Camp

This camp is run by Coach Tingey through the Salt Lake County Rec Program. It runs Monday May 14th - Thursday May 17th. Ages included are next year's 4th-7th graders. 3:00-5:30 p.m. $50 (includes a t-shirt). Come right after your school day ends! Held at Herriman High Main Gym. Herriman Volleyball Camp

This camp is run by Coach Nicholson and Staff through the Salt Lake County Rec Program. It runs Monday May 21st - Thursday May 23rd. Ages included are next year's 5th-9th graders. 6:00-8:00 p.m. $40 (includes a t-shirt). Held at Herriman High Main Gym. Download the Registration Form for more information.
