Students learn about Day of the Dead

Students Learn About Day of the Dead

All levels of Spanish classes learned about cultural traditions, decorations, and perspectives related to Day of the Dead by creating an in-class ofrenda and comparing traditions, culminating in a sugar skull cookie decorating contest. Spanish Club members also participated in the LIA sponsored Multicultural Event on Saturday Nov 1, sharing their knowledge, fun activities and dances with attendees.
