Mr. Sam Puich

Mr. Sam Puich is the computer science teacher at Herriman High School. He has taught in various capacities for over 31 years and has worked in industry as a software engineer and consultant as well. He is married to his wife, Emely, who is a nurse. They have one son.
Mr. Puich is a native of Montana. He was born and raised in Butte, Montana and graduated from Butte High School. He participated in football, basketball, track, and baseball during his high school years. He then went on to play college football at Montana.
Mr. Puich has taught at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. He has also coached football, boys' basketball, girls' basketball, volleyball, and softball at the high school level. He has been a professor, dean, and provost at the university level.
